Dr. Cox1- This is a very recent post. I took Flagyl 3 days ago. The dosage of Flagyl is 300mg twice a day. I have read that 500mg of Flagyl is the same dosage as 500mg of penicillin and 500mg of Cipro have similar side effects. I am unsure of the correct dosage. I am curious if anyone has any advice on how to prevent this infection.
